Element Six Diamox™ Recognized for Advanced Wastewater Treatment

Element Six (E6), part of the De Beers Group and a leader in synthetic diamond industrial innovation, has been awarded the Green Technology prize at the Global Tech Awards for its Diamox™ system. The recognition highlights the technology’s contribution to sustainable wastewater treatment using proprietary boron-doped diamond (BDD) electrodes. Diamox™ targets dissolved contaminants, including short-chain PFAS, without relying on harsh chemicals or multi-step processes. The system has been deployed in applications such as landfill leachate treatment and partnerships addressing PFAS remediation.

Designed for on-site use, Diamox™ delivers continuous operation even in highly contaminated environments, helping facilities reduce environmental impact, streamline regulatory compliance, and lower operational costs. Its compact and reliable design allows integration across a variety of industrial settings. By applying synthetic diamond technology, E6 aims to meet emerging sustainability and water-treatment challenges while supporting safe, efficient wastewater management.

“This award is a testament to what is possible when synthetic diamond industrial innovation is applied to real-world problems. Diamox™ is the result of over a decade invested in collaboration and relentless research. We are proud to see our pioneering technology being recognized for ensuring clean and safe water resources for all.” said Siobhán Duffy, CEO at Element Six.
