GF Building Flow Solutions has begun construction of a new logistics hall at its Hassfurt site in Franconia, Germany, positioning the location as a central European warehouse for its water-related product range. According to the company, the expansion supports faster global distribution of its portfolio, which includes solutions for drinking water supply, wastewater control, and energy-efficient heating and cooling.
The facility will feature around 9,500 square meters of indoor storage space and 2,500 square meters outdoors, accommodating up to 20,000 pallet spaces with semi-automated, narrow-aisle racking. Once complete, the upgraded site is expected to handle more than 6,000 stored products—double the current capacity—and serve customers in over 70 countries. GF reports that this development reinforces Hassfurt’s role in its long-term water infrastructure strategy.
“With the new logistics hall, we are making our product distribution towards our customers even faster and more efficient,” said Thomas Fuhr, Chief Technology Officer, GF Building Flow Solutions.
