Adasa Sistemas has initiated a new phase of the DIGITAGUABURG project, aimed at digitalizing the integral water cycle in Burgos. Supported by NextGenerationEU funds under the PERTE framework for water cycle digitalization, the initiative focuses on enhancing operational efficiency and resilience across municipal water services. Advanced sensorization systems are being installed, including multiparametric sensors for sewage networks, telemetry devices at critical overflow points, and rain gauges to monitor urban runoff.
Data from these devices are integrated into the Aguas de Burgos SCADA system, enabling real-time visualization, analysis, and automated reporting. The project targets a 30% reduction in response times to pollution episodes and continuous monitoring of 23 overflow points. It aligns with broader objectives for smart, sustainable water management, including supply reliability, loss reduction, and climate adaptation strategies.
