Valmet has received a Gold Medal in the 2025 EcoVadis sustainability assessment, placing it among the top 5% of more than 150,000 companies evaluated worldwide. The assessment reviews performance across environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. Valmet achieved an overall score of 82 out of 100, six points higher than in 2024, and now ranks within the top two percent of all companies assessed.
The result reflects ongoing progress toward its long-term goal of achieving a Platinum Medal. The company participates in several independent sustainability ratings, including EcoVadis, CDP, and MSCI ESG Ratings, as part of its approach to measuring and communicating its performance against international benchmarks.
“Sustainability is at the core of our new strategy, Lead the Way, and embedded in everything we do, from our technologies to our supply chain. EcoVadis is widely used by our customers to evaluate their partners, and this result shows that our performance and improvements are recognized globally.” said Reetta Loponen, Vice President, Sustainability at Valmet.
