Valmet Expands Flow Control Reach in Portugal

Valmet has expanded its flow control footprint in Portugal by appointing Opportunity Agreement as an authorised distributor for the central and northern regions. The partnership is intended to improve access to Valmet’s valves, pumps, automation products and supporting services, which are used widely across water management, wastewater treatment and other liquid-handling applications. It aligns with Valmet’s strategy of combining direct operations with an established partner network to extend availability of mission-critical flow control technologies.

Opportunity Agreement will provide the market with several established product brands within Valmet’s portfolio, including Neles™, Jamesbury™, Flowrox™, Neles Easyflow™, Stonel™ and Valvcon™. With these additions, the companies aim to support operators in sectors that rely on precise, reliable control of process flows, from municipal water facilities to industrial plants handling demanding media.
