Grundfos has become a member of the Industrial Alliance for Competitiveness and Energy Efficiency (ALLICE), strengthening its involvement in efforts to decarbonize industry. The company positions its expertise in water and energy efficiency at the center of this partnership, pointing to the close link between managing water use and reducing energy demand. Through its focus on the “water-energy nexus,” Grundfos highlights the role of integrated solutions in achieving resource savings and resilience.
A key area of emphasis is industrial water reuse, where wastewater from one process is treated for application in another. According to Grundfos, this approach can significantly reduce water consumption, lower energy use, and cut costs, while enabling manufacturers to respond to increasing resource constraints. Examples cited by the company include projects in the beverage sector that have led to substantial savings in both consumption and expenditure.
“At Grundfos we recognise water as the indispensable source that it is and believe collaboration is at the heart of the answer. We’re ready with our solutions, the desire to build lasting partnership, and the determination to make a difference together,” said Inge Delobelle, CEO of the Industry Division at Grundfos.
