The Board of Directors of Aqualia has appointed Santiago Lafuente Pérez-Lucas as CEO of the company, the appointment will take effect on 9th April 2024.
Santiago Lafuente holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and a master’s degree in End-to-end Water Plant Management from CEDEX. He has also studied Project Financial Model Analysis at IESE and EOI and has extensive experience in the water management sector. At Aqualia he has held the positions of Area Director, Director of the Central-North delegation, as well as being responsible for Wastewater Production and Treatment in Spain.
Aqualia's Board of Directors say they wish to acknowledge and thank the work carried out by Félix Parra, who since 2013 has held the position of CEO, with his work and dedication, he has contributed enormously to the growth and evolution of Aqualia, which in recent years has achieved a leading position in the water management sector worldwide.
