Danfoss Expands D1P Pump Portfolio with New 160-cc Model

Danfoss Power Solutions has expanded its D1P portfolio of open circuit high-power axial piston pumps with the introduction of a 160-cc displacement size. The company state that this addition enhances the versatility of the D1P pump family, offering a robust, efficient solution for a wide range of heavy-duty mobile and industrial machinery applications. The new 160-cc model delivers pressure ratings of 350 bar continuous and 400 bar intermittent, with flow capabilities of up to 400 liters per minute, making it well-suited for demanding environments.

Danfoss explain that the D1P 160-cc pump shares the same robust design features as other models in the series, including angled piston bores, spherical valve plates and low-friction roller-element cradle bearings. These design elements contribute to its high efficiency and durability. The pump is available with multiple control options, such as pressure compensation, load sensing, and electronic displacement control, allowing for optimized machine performance. It also integrates with Danfoss PVG 128 and PVG 256 high-flow spool valves, offering a comprehensive solution for high-flow needs across various industries.

“The D1P open circuit pump family was designed to provide customers with flexible, robust, efficient solutions for demanding applications. We’re living up to that promise with the addition of the 160-cc displacement.” said Martin Blank, Senior Product Application Engineer.
