Ovivo has been shortlisted for the 2025 Water Technology Company of the Year Award, presented by Global Water Intelligence (GWI). The nomination recognises developments made in 2024 across research, product development, and technology, particularly in sustainable water treatment and PFAS solutions. GWI is known for its annual Global Water Awards and for publishing market intelligence on the international water sector.
Ovivo highlights several initiatives as part of its innovation programme, including upgrades to its R&D centre in Switzerland, advances in PFAS treatment technologies, and expanded ceramic membrane production in the US. The company also references the launch of new branded treatment solutions, NSF/ANSI 419 certification for its SiC membranes, and the granting of 12 patents during the year. These steps, it states, are part of its wider efforts to support sustainable water use in sectors such as semiconductor manufacturing and municipal treatment.
Ovivo say that the nomination is a milestone, acknowledging its focus on innovation, sustainability, and technical leadership in water treatment.
