Emerson Introduces New Pressure Measurement Solution

Emerson has introduced the Rosemount™ 4051S Pressure Transmitter, a new industrial measurement device designed to provide flexible pressure monitoring and operational insights across demanding applications. The transmitter features built-in relay switches that can provide local control for pumps, motors, and other equipment, reducing the need for additional devices. Engineered for high reliability, it offers a 20-year warranty and stability, fast 40-millisecond response, and a broad 800:1 turndown ratio to reduce inventory requirements. The device also includes advanced diagnostics for loop integrity, plugged impulse line detection, and abnormal condition monitoring, supporting efficient maintenance and operational safety.

The transmitter’s graphical backlit display and intuitive interface simplify reading and configuration, with support for seven languages and Bluetooth® connectivity for remote access up to 15 metres. Integrated proof-testing and diagnostic logs aim to enhance safety and efficiency while streamlining operator rounds. Its safety certifications include Safety Integrity Level 2/3 and IEC 61508 compliance, enabling use in high-risk environments.
