South West Water, a water and wastewater services provider in the South West of England, marked International Women in Engineering Day by recognising two women engineers who support its water network across Devon, Cornwall, and the Isles of Scilly. The company highlighted the importance of increasing diversity in engineering roles and its efforts to create more opportunities for women in the sector.
Water Networks Technician Robyn Harris and Network Area Planning Technician Alice Reeby play key roles in maintaining the region’s water supply, managing repairs, maintenance, and emergency response. Their contributions illustrate South West Water’s commitment to encouraging more women to enter engineering careers.
“Robyn and Alice have both made a real impact in a short space of time. Their dedication and professionalism support the ongoing delivery of water services and demonstrate the value South West Water places on diverse talent.” said Rob Waddle, Area Operations Manager.
