Tedagua Awarded Operation and Maintenance Contract for WWTPs in Caceres

Tedagua, in collaboration with Majoin, has been entrusted with the operation and maintenance of 10 Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTPs), 3 Wastewater Pumping Stations (WWPS), and 12 external overflows in the province of Cáceres, Spain. Awarded by the Environmental and Water Consortium of the Province of Cáceres (MásMedio), the five-year contract is valued at more than 4 million euros and will provide wastewater treatment for over 40,000 equivalent inhabitants, with a treatment capacity of 3 million cubic meters annually.

The contract forms part of a larger initiative by MásMedio to manage wastewater treatment across at least 50 municipalities in Cáceres, representing the Consortium's largest undertaking to date with an estimated overall value exceeding 21 million euros. The facilities under Tedagua’s scope are strategically located near the Spanish-Portuguese border along the Tagus River and play a critical role in ensuring effective water sanitation for the region.

Tedagua states that this project underscores its commitment to sustainable water management and sanitation, a service it provides to over 20 million inhabitants worldwide. The company also highlights its continued leadership in constructing and maintaining vital water infrastructure across Spain.
