Tedagua Deploys Containerized Desalination Plant in Ibiza

Tedagua, together with Global Omnium, has installed a containerized desalination plant in Ibiza to secure the island’s water supply. The SW10 unit produces up to 1,000 m³ of drinking water per day using advanced reverse osmosis technology, providing high water quality and energy-efficient operation. Its modular, portable design allows fast deployment and easy transport, supporting efforts to reduce pressure on local aquifers during drought conditions.

The SW10 complements Tedagua’s range of containerized systems, including the TED SW27 and TED SW13, which integrate compact filtration and separation technologies for reliable performance in space-constrained or temporary locations. These solutions demonstrate how modern water treatment technologies can be applied efficiently to maintain safe and consistent water access for communities.

Tedagua highlights its commitment to sustainable water management and innovation, showing how compact, modular plants can deliver effective filtration and separation in response to local water supply challenges.
