Volvo Penta - Inside Binatural's 24/7 Biodiesel Plant

The Binatural biodiesel factory will operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, supported by three generator sets equipped with Volvo Penta engines running 100% on biodiesel fuel. Located in the municipality of Simões Filho, in the metropolitan region of Salvador (Brazil), it is the first manufacturing unit of its kind to use engines powered by biodiesel in the process of producing this type of fuel.
