Volvo Penta Supplies BESS for Boels Rental Energy Project

Volvo Penta is supplying its scalable Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) subsystem to power a new solution developed by e-power® for Boels Rental, one of Europe’s largest equipment rental companies. The system is designed to support the rental sector’s evolving power needs, offering flexible deployment and compact transportability for temporary energy supply.

At the centre of the solution is Volvo Penta’s integration-ready BESS subsystem, which includes battery packs, a battery management system, DC/DC converters, and thermal and safety components. The unit is intended to complement on-site power or electric machinery in applications requiring silent, low-emissions operation.
