Xylem has named the winners of its 2024 Global Student Innovation Challenge. “Team AGWE – God of Water: Be Empowered. Take Action.” from the Philippines and “The Blue: Immersive Water Conservation Learning Experience” from Algeria won the grand prizes in the high school and university divisions, respectively. The winning teams were selected from nearly 260 projects evaluated by judges from Xylem and EarthEcho International. Each team will share a $20,000 prize and gain access to the Xylem Ignite Innovation Incubator, where they will receive mentorship and funding to further develop their solutions. This initiative is part of Xylem Ignite, which aims to empower the next generation of water sector innovators.
