Xylem has selected 13 startups from nine countries to join its 2025 Partnerships Accelerator, a program focused on fast-tracking technologies aimed at improving water resilience and security. The selected companies are developing tools to address issues such as leak detection, contamination monitoring, energy use, and water reuse—pressures that continue to mount due to aging infrastructure, climate impacts, and rising water demand from industries like data centers.
Now in its fourth year, the Xylem Partnerships Accelerator has supported over 60 startups and led to 11 commercial partnerships. The program is part of a broader venture strategy, which includes a $50 million commitment to scaling solutions that help tackle water scarcity and quality challenges. Technologies included in the 2025 cohort range from waterless cooling systems to AI-driven analytics for utilities.
Xylem says the program offers startups a pathway to scale with global reach and real-world deployment, while leveraging a network of innovation partners including Burnt Island Ventures and The Westly Group. More information is available via the company’s website.
